Myrtle is best known for its long sunny beaches, and warm waters.   Besides taking a swim in the ocean there are a ton of fun things to do on the beach.  You can fish or ride a jet ski, and even go parasailing.  

Fishing

Deep sea fishing is one of Myrtle Beaches most popular things to do.  There are over 100 deep sea fishing company in myrtle beach.  Some of the most famous companies are "Captain Dick's deep sea fishing and boat rides", and "Voyagers fishing charters".  They are mostly open from March to November.  If you are one of those people who get seasick, you can always bring your pole and come fishing on the Cherry Grove fishing pier its only $1.oo to get in.

Jet Skis and Power Boats

Jet boats are very similar to jet skiing except a little bigger.  You can rent these in a few places along the intracoastal water and some places along the beach.  You must have a boaters license to drive these out on the open waters.  You can fit up to 6 people on these boats which makes it a great family activity.

Jet Skiing is one of the best things to do at the beach.  You can bring your own or there are many rentals you can use.  Also,  you must be very experienced to ride out in the ocean but you can also ride on the intracoastal waterway where the waters are much calmer.  You can ride single, double, or even triple on the jet skis.

Parasailing is another popular thing to do at the beach.  You ride out to sea in a boat. Then you get strapped up to a parachute and they let you go and you fly high into the sky with you feet dangling from your chair.  You can get these rides for about $13.00 per person.
