Myrtle Beach is a Golfer's nirvana, it has over 120 golf courses for all ages.  Over a million golfer's come to Myrtle Beach each year to play at one of the beautiful courses.  The Grand Strand courses at Myrtle Beach were named one of the best golf destinations of the year. A lot of people think that the beach is just for swimming in the ocean, but down here in Myrtle Beach golf is always on the brain.  Myrtle Beach also has the most mini golf courses of anywhere in the country.

Grand Dunes golf course is one of the best courses in Myrtle Beach.  It is a very scenic course looking over the intercoastal waterway.  In 2001 it was named "Best New Course"

Tidewater Golf, a.k.a.  "The Pebble Beach of the East", is another great course overlooking the cherrry grove intlet and the ocean.

The Myrtlewood golf club is one of Myrtle Beach's finest.  It has 2 different courses.  The Palmetto course is for more advanced players while the Pinehills course is for intermediate players.  This course is one of the tourist favorites among the many courses.
