| Last year Spears generated some
impressive box-office heat taking in $43.7 million from 53 reported arena
shows. She does not have a record this year. Spears worked for six years
in a row and decided to take some time off.
There is not a lot of pop out this summer because radio is not playing pop and the record companies are not putting it out. Radio seems to be rock driven now. Spears appeared in her first movie "Crossroads" last year which was about friendship and adventure.
