Butterfly is the hardest stroke to learn and swim. In order to swim butterfly stroke you have to have a lot of upper body strength.  When you swim butterfly both your arms have to come out of the water at the same time (that's the hard part) and you have to keep your legs together and move your hips up and down and kick. Butterfly is a very tough stroke to swim and learn. If you have shoulder problems you probably would want to swim butterfly drill. Drill is a lot easier that the regular stroke.

Backstroke is an easy stroke to learn. Almost everyone can do it. All you have to do in order to swim backstroke is lay on your back and move you arm backwards. You do freestyle kick while on your back also. Backstroke is a fun stroke to do and learn.

Breaststroke is a harder stroke to learn, but is still easy to swim. The hardest part is the kick. For breaststroke you have to kick both of your legs at the same time. They have to go out and then snap back in. For your arm you just have to make little circles. The arm stroke is very easy to learn. Also for breaststroke you lay on your stomach.

Freestyle is the easiest stroke to learn. Everyone can do it. For freestyle all you have to do is lay on your stomach, kick your feet up and down, and make the freestyle stroke. You also have to learn to breath to the side. It is harder for beginners to get it just right. The freestyle stroke is the one which you move your arms forward and back. It is a very easy stroke to learn. At practice freestyle is the stroke that we do the most.
