There is just about anything you can do to your ATV.  I have seen a quad with hydralics, and if you don't know what that means, it means that it has a suspension that makes it move up and down or make it bounce depending on how powerful they are.  So I will show you some of the modifications that you can do.

This modification is a need if you are racing your ATV.  While you are racing you are very close to other quads and you will bump them often.  The bumpers they put on from the factory are just not strong enough to withstand the pressure of hitting another quad.  They will bend like a pretzel.
Another thing you will need for racing is a good tire to hook up for the holeshot and in the trails and track.  The tread pattern you see hereis the most popular for the serious racer.  Also the wheel you see is definitly a need.  It is called a beadlock wheel.  When you come into a turn real fast and hit the berm the tire wants to come off the rim which is not a good thing at all.  So this wheel has two layers on the outside and the inside.  The tire fits right into the middle of the layers and you tighten the bolts as you can see on the outside and it keeps the tire on the bead.  That is where they get the name beadlock.

Another need is a new exhaust system for your ATV.  The exhaust system from the factory has a sparkarrestor in it which doesn't let the quad breath enough which means you will lose horsepower.  So the answer to that is a new exhaust system.  They also look better than the factory exhaust.
This suspension package is probaly one of the most important things you need for racing.  The suspension that is on your ATV from the factory just doesn't cut it for a serios quad racer.  Normally when people purchase new a-arms and shocks they have the bottom a-arm longer because it tilts out the wheel and it is harder to flip over the quad.
