White Persians were probably brought from Turkey to France in the 1500s. They were known as Angoras, hence the name of the Turkish capital, Ankara. Angora also means that the cats have long hair, and they do!

Orange- Eyed White
These were some of the earliest Persians in the United States and Europe. They have orange eyes because of cross- breeding between Blue, Cream, and Black Persian cats. These cats are all white and have pink noses. In 1938, Orange- Eyed and Blue- Eyed Persians were put into separate categories in Great Britain.
Blue- Eyed White
Although all white Persians are born with blue eyes, the ones with eyes that don't change color have a good chance of being deaf. A cure for this deafness has not yet been found.
Odd- Eyed White
Odd- Eyed White Persian cats have one blue eye and one orange eye. They are born to blue- eyed parents or parents that come from two different breeds. If the cats is deaf, they are usually deaf in the ear that is on the same side of the head as the blue eye. Odd- Eyed Whites were recognized in the United States for the first time during the 1950s.
Cream
`Cream Persians get the color of their coats from the matings of Tortoiseshell Persians and Red Tabby Persians. Most of the kittens born of these matings are male. These cats usually have copper eyes. Cream Persians are preferred to have no white in their undercoats and to be a medium shade of cream color. Tabby markings on kittens will eventually fade.
