~*~This is James Lansten Bass, also know as Lance.  Lance was born on May 4, 1979 in Clinton, Mississippi.  His mother's name is Diane, and his father's name is Jim.  He also has a sister named Stacy.  Some of the many nicknames for Lance include Mr. Cool, Lansten, and Scoop.   At the age of eleven, he joined the local community choir.  This choir is not only popular in the United States, but toured successfully throughout the nation.  After only the first year of being in the choir, he had his first engagement with the Mississippi Show Stoppers.~*~

~*~Although Lance was doing very well, he was striving for a more academic career.  Lance is very talented in natural sciences and he always wanted to become an astronaut.  Lance is a sports fanatic along with all the other members of this popular guy group.  His two favorite sports are swimming and baseball, but he rarely has time to enjoy these sports.  Even though Lance is more the quiet, calm type, he is in no way the silent one.  Once he or someone else "breaks the ice", there is no stopping him.  Despite this, he is a very good listener.~*~
