Sandy Koufax is one of the most legendary pitchers.  He was a dominant left handed pitchers.  He played for the Los Angeles Dodgers.  He is 6 foot 2 inches which made for a great fastball.  He also had a sharp curve which dazzled batters.  From 1961 to 1966 he had a .733 winning percentage.  He has a plethora of awards including three Cy Young awards, one league MVP, five consecutive National League ERA titles.  He also has four pennants and two career world series championships. 

Roger Clemens is one of the most feared pitchers in the major leagues.  His nickname the "Rocket" says it all.  A heat throwing machine.  He is closing on 300 wins and that is an accomplishment among the best.    

 

 

Johnny Bench was a great all around catcher.  He was like a rock wall guarding the plate a a big 210 lbs.  He is defiantly a hall of fame catcher.

Dizzy Dean was a bright light during the great depression of the 1930's.  He had a magnificint season in 1934 going 30 and 7.  During the 1937 all star game he was hit with a line drive in the foot.  He pitched the rest of the game with a broken toe.
