Mike Schmidt is a Hall Of Fame 3rd baseman.  He was the whole package with defense and offense.  His career began in 1972 and lasted 18 years.  Thirteen times he hit 30 or more homeruns in a season.  He had a career 548 homeruns.  

 

Willie Stargell was one of the greatest first baseman in the game.  His 6'3" build made for a great power hitter.  He was loved in the city of Pittsburgh, and was given the beloved nickname of "Pops".  He was a great power hitter, and was a terror to pitchers.  He has a amazing 475 homeruns, a .282 average, and a seven time All Star.

       

 

 

Jackie Robinson will be remembered for breaking the color barrier for professional baseball.  In 1947 he was drafted by the Brooklyn Dodgers.  This was a dream for Robinson who was a four sport player for UCLA.  When he was playing for the Dodgers he accomplished six pennants and a career .311 batting average.

  
 

 

 

Mark Mcgwire is one of the most dominant hitters ever to play the game of baseball.  He broke Roger Maras's single season home run record in 1999 with 70.  This is an accomplishment of great stature.  His record was later broken by Barry Bonds in 2002.     

  

Cal Ripkin is a hall of fame shortstop.  His 14 year career shows it.  In 1983 he had a 102 RBI and MVP season.  He is a fifteen time all star and and a two time American league MVP.
