Ben Harper has 7 cd's out and just released a new one, Diamonds on the Inside.  He is also touring with Jack Johnson this summer.

Jack Johnson is a surfer/song-writer/musician /filmmaker from Hawaii. He has 2 cd's out and his new cd, On and On, was released in May. 

Dave Matthews Band

Dave Matthews Band is a band who plays really good music. Their music is a little bit of jazz and a little bit of rock.  The band is originally from Virginia and has been a band since 1991.

    Guitarists are very talented people.  A few great guitarists are Dave Matthews, Ben Harper, and Jack Johnson.  The guitar is a very popular instrument and these guitarists are very successful from playing it. Here is a little information on some of the guitarists. 

John Mayer is 25 years old and is a great guitar player.  He has 3 cd's out and one is either a movie or cd.  Some good songs of his are Victoria, Love Song For No One, and Your Body is a Wonderland.  

Elvis Presley started singing in 1954 and by 1956 he was an international star.  He starred in about  33 successful films, made many appearances on many shows, and  has earned  gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards for 140 different albums and singles.  Elvis Presley died on August 16th, 1977.

Aerosmith  has been a band for about 30 years. They did a duo with a rap group Run DMC and were the first rock bands to do that.  Their song Walk This Way that they did with Run DMC is a well known song.

Ani Difranco

Ani Difranco is a great musician whose music is a punk folksinger which is really funky.  She can play the elctric and acoustic guitar and every other instrument. She has been recording for about 12 years and has 20 cd's out.  Some good songs of hers are Untouchable Face, As If, and Joyful Girl which Dave Matthews does a cover of with Soulive.   

Sheryl Crow has 4 cd's out and her new cd, C'mon C'mon which has good songs such as Soak Up the Sun and C'mon C'mon.  Some other great songs from other albums are Strong Enough, All I Wanna Do, and I Shall Believe.

Ziggy Marley, the son of the most known reggae singer Bob Marley, is from Kingston, Jamaica.  For the past 20 years he has been playing in a band called The Melody Makers with 3 of his brothers. Now in 2003 he came out with a new, solo cd called Dragonfly which he wrote most of his songs in Kingston but recorded in the U.S.
