Scottie Pippen was born to play basketball. He was born with the skills, the dedication, and the mental ability to become a NBA player. Scottie went to the university of central Arkansas without any aspirations of becoming a NBA player. that goal came much later Even though his team wasn't very good it still helped him develop his talents. He lead his team in scoring and rebounding for three years. In 1987 the Chicago Bulls signed Scottie Pippen to a 6 year contract worth more than 5 million dollars. Pippen was drafted to take some of the pressure off there super star Michael Jordan. They got that and a lot mare than expected from Scottie Pippen.
