Attack

Attack is the main offense in lacrosse.  They are positioned around the goal to score goals.  The attackmen are only allowed to stay on the offensive side of the field.  To the right are to attackmen and the one to the far right is Michael Powell an attackmen who won MVP last year for Syracuse.

Midfield

Midfield is the position that makes Lacrosse a fast paced sport.  The midi's do not stop moving through their playing time on the field.  They are allowed to go on both sides of the field unless an attackmen or defensemen goes on the opposite side.  Midi's score a lot of goals with attack.  I play the position of midfield and there has to have more lines then the other positions so there are fresh legs on the field.

Defense/ Goalie

Defense and goalies job is to prevent the other team from scoring.  The defense has a longer shaft then the attack and midfield.  The goalie has a bigger head then all of the other positions do. The midfield helps the defense on the defensive side of the field.  The defense guards the attack and the midi's guard the other midi's.

Referees

The refs are like the refs in football they call penalties and throw flags like the one pictured to the right.  Some refs are cool but most of them suck and either call bad penalties on us or don't call obvious penalties on the opponents.
