Kendrell
Bell #97 LB
Kendrell Bell was born in Augusta, Georgia on July 2, 1978. In his early years he lettered in football, basketball, and track. He placed 5th in the state at shot put and earned all-state and Atlanta-journal Constitution All-south honors. He went to Georgia college then the Steelers drafted him in the 2nd round in 2002 and that was a very smart pick seeing that he was the 2001 defensive rookie of the year and was named to pro footballs all rookie team. He was selected to the 2002 Pro Bowl and played for the AFC for they needed an extra player but still played to the best of his ability. Bells stats show (only 2001 stats) he has had solo tackles, 10 sacks, and assisted on 16 tackles. Bell didn't get as much play time as he would of liked in the 2002 season because he was fighting against a knee injury but he still did well the little he got to play. |
