The Band

Sum 41 is made up of 4 members from Toronto, Canada. Which was where all of them were once in rival bands in high school. In 96' Derick and Jason got together and started a band. Soon after Steve joined and they stole Dave from his original band. They first started out as rappers which mad some difficulties because Jason hated rap. So they tried Pop-punk, which fit them perfectly. Soon after they were known throughout Canada and moved to the Usa to Start Over. They Became very popular with their song "Fatlip" and were the number one hit for six weeks  on MTV. They won so many awards and almost everywhere they had their concert tickets were sold out. They made a CD called All Killer, No Filler and that Hit top charts as soon as it came out. The CD was translated into four different languages. Now they have a CD out called "Does this Look Infected" which surprisingly not a lot of people own. Now Sum 41 are still making Songs and are working on their new CD.
