Starting a collection can be an enjoyable and successful hobby, if you do it right. What you have to do is find a brand of cards or buy a box of cards and put them in certain sets and organize them in groups to keep them in order. When you want to start a collection, go to a place like Dick's, where their cards are priced lower, and there aren't any people trying to sell you cards at higher prices. Many other serious collectors will try to give you tips on what to buy and how to pick from as in brands. you may choose to listen to them, or go alone. Most serious collectors are good to listen to, but some try to lead you astray.
