Breaststroke is referred to as the simplest to get the hang of or to master. Simply because all you have to do is coordinate your arms and legs doing the same thing to being don't at the same time.

As seen in this picture a man is swimming breaststroke. His technique is very good. In order to have great technique you must be able to move your arms and legs ina motion that is often referred to as " the frog motion ". It is called that because the way in which your arms and legs move look like that of a frogs.

Breaststroke is my favorite. Here is how you do breaststroke. The kick is like a frog kick. You bring your feet close to the back of your legs, then propel them out. Then bring your heels together and start the cycle over again. Your arms should spread outward, thumbs down. Then come back together in a down motion. Lastly then shout out when your feet are about to click together. That is how you swim Breaststroke.

For breathing, you must be able to bring your whole body above the water with your arms and to make your body move throughout the water with your legs, or to move forward.

Often times breaststroke is referred to as the frog stroke, simply because you move through the water just like a frog.

Here are some young swimmers who are now trying to master the stroke of breaststroke.
