This is the attack and defense
of a card. The number to the left is its attack the number to the left is the
defense. If some some creature blocks a creature that has a lower defense then
the attack of the attacking creature the blocking creature dies and the same the
other way around. That's pretty much the basics of the whole attack defending
thing you'll see how some combos work as you play along too.
