In the game "Magic: The Gathering" there are many types of cards that vary from color, creatures, and editions. This first page will teach about the different types and what they do.   

 

               

 

 

creatures are the cards that

can be plaid for a manna cost to

attack and defend. creatures are 

permanents so they they stay in play

unless another card prevents that.  

Colors are grouped by red, green,

 black, white, and some times

gold (which is a combination of

different colors). A creature, instant,

or enchantments cards can be any of

these groups. The color of a card could

determine its manna cost of that card

or the cost of its abilities.
