Here are some different positions you need to learn about to cheer.  You must be stiff as can be and punch your motions when you cheer. Now, theses page will show you the basic positions you must know in order to cheer. Here are a few positions that will help you become that cheerleader you wanted to be!

 

This is a position called the daggers. You will us this in some cheer positions.

This is a picture of the up and down diagonal you will be doing.  Make sure your arms are stiff and sharp! 

This is a High - V position you will use often in your cheers.  Make sure your wrist don't bend at the end of your arms! Make then stiff and sharp!

This is a picture of a left -L motion you will learn.  Make sure you arms touching your head or ear! Make it stiff and sharp!

This is a picture of a left lunge position you will learn for stunting. It is used  a lot in stunts.

Make sure your arms are finger tip length out, when lining up in your sidelines. And for getting ready to do your toe-touch.

This is the touchdown position you will use when doing touchdown cheers...lol!  Make sure your arms are very tight to your ears and hit that position good!

You can do a toe-touch when ever you want but mostly you will do it in cheers and your dance. You toe-touch doesn't have to be that high but make sure your touching your toes!
