MMario Lemieux

I In the 1987-88 seaso, Mario Lemieux was the first player in seven years to take a scoring title from Gretzky.He was also named Hart Memorial Trophy(MVP)winner,breaking an eight- year Greztzky streak.Early in his career Mario chose "66" as his number, flipping the Great One's "99".

      Brett Hull    The Calgary Flames selected Hull in the sixth round of the 1984 entry draft,an unheralded 117th overall .His first NHL season  Hull scored  26 goals in 52 games for the Flames ,who traded him before the end of the season to the St.Louis Blues.With the Blues,Hull was paired up with Adam Oates one of the best playmakers in the game.Hull scored  41 goals and  43 assists for 84 points in his first full season with the Blues.In the  1989-90 season,Hull scored 72 goals to lead the NHLin goal-scoring for the first of three straight  seasons.
      Gordie Howe  PPlayed for the Detriot for most of his career  scoring a whopping 256 goals in three seasons. Howe  was the best in the NHL in points with 90+ points for seven season .Gordie Howe won the most goals in a season trophie with 87 goals in a season  of the 1962-1963 season.
     Bobby Orr   The best player all around Bobby Orr playing his best hockey in the 1987-88 season with 97 points leding all the defenseman in playing  only 72 games.He was awarded player of the year in the 1990 season with boston  as he added 46 goals (carer high) and added 87 assists and still remember today as one of the best defenseman in the NHL in his time.
     Bobby Hull Bobby Hull  won his first NHL scoring title during the 1959-1960 season, when he was only twenty-one years old.The next year he lead the BlackHawks to their first Stanley Cup since 1938.In 1972, Bobby Hull became the first major player to join the new World Hockey Association.Hull got  a million dollars to leave Black Hawks and join the Winninipeg Jets.Hull's greatest season with the Jets was 1974-1975.He scored  77 goals in just 78 games.Bobby Hull is still remembered fondly in Chicago and Winipeg even after his retirement.

     Wayne Gretzky

WWhen Gretzky was only19 years old, and became the youngest hockey player ever  to have a 50-goal season. And he had 51 goals in the 1979-1980 season. A year later  he set records  with 109 assists, for a total of 164 points..He also holds the record for the most trophies 89.
     Mark Messier

n   Messier helped the Rangers  to the Stanley Cup in the 1994,their first  championship in 54 years.The Vancouver Canucks, hoping Messier could lift them to the playoffs, he signed a $20 million .His individual performance chart reveals in a impressive statistics: one more than 50- goals season; six seasons of 100 points or more than 100 playoff goals and almost 300 post-season points; a record 13 shorthanded playoff goals.
