selected Hull in the sixth round of the 1984 entry draft,an unheralded
117th overall .His first NHL season Hull scored 26 goals in 52
games for the Flames ,who traded him before the end of the season to the
St.Louis Blues.With the Blues,Hull was paired up with Adam Oates one of
the best playmakers in the game.Hull scored 41 goals and 43
assists for 84 points in his first full season with the Blues.In the
1989-90 season,Hull scored 72 goals to lead the NHLin goal-scoring for the
first of three straight seasons. |

Bobby Orr playing his best hockey in the 1987-88 season with 97 points
leding all the defenseman in playing only 72 games.He was awarded
player of the year in the 1990 season with boston as he added 46
goals (carer high) and added 87 assists and still remember today as one of
the best defenseman in the NHL in his time. |

Bobby Hull won his first NHL
scoring title during the 1959-1960 season, when he was only twenty-one
years old.The next year he lead the BlackHawks to their first Stanley Cup
since 1938.In 1972, Bobby Hull became the first major player to join the
new World Hockey Association.Hull got a million dollars to leave
Black Hawks and join the Winninipeg Jets.Hull's greatest season with the
Jets was 1974-1975.He scored 77 goals in just 78 games.Bobby Hull is
still remembered fondly in Chicago and Winipeg even after his retirement. |
