Before Gene did movies, he did Broadway. He didn't do as many shows on stage as he did in the movie business. He performed on stage singing, and tap dancing. His skill on Broadway eventually got him a position on the big screen in Hollywood! Some of his best shows were Pal Joey, One for the Money, and Leave it to Me. His singing brought music to your heart, and his dancing brought happiness to your soul. When he went to movies he brought all of that with him.
