Thoroughbreds

A thoroughbred horses height can vary.  They may be as small as 14.2 hands or over 17 hands.  The thoroughbreds color can be solid, bay, chestnut, brown of can have white markings.  The conformation of a thoroughbred is variable, but the best horses have good conformation.

Thoroughbred horses are widely used for racing.  The thoroughbred is alert, spirited and full of presence.  They have a very good gallop that covers ground easily and produces great stamina.  Thoroughbreds are also found in the hunting field and three- day eventing.
