Quarter Horses height may range from 14.3 to 16 hands. They come in any solid colors. The conformation of a Quarter Horse is short, wide head, broad chest and muscled hindquarters. |

The Quarter Horse is used as a common riding and leisure horse. Today they are used for western style competitions such as barrel racing, racing short distances, and rodeos. Also Quarter Horses are known to be gentle and so the horse is used in a variety of activities. |
