Matt Dillon was born on February 18, 1964 in New Rochelle, New York. He is the Second oldest of five boys and one girl. His family has been described as a tight-knit Irish Catholic family. His father Paul was a stockbroker and his mother was a homemaker. |

When Matt got home to tell his parents that he had gotten a part in the movie "Over the Edge" that some brothers were making little did he know that they were the Warner Brothers. |
