Legend says that Abner Doubleday invented baseball.
In reality, it was formed from a British game called Rounders.
They wanted baseball to be the picture perfect "All-American" game that people wanted.
They actually had a search for who would take the credit for baseball. Abner Doubleday was a war general and very "All-American". So, people give credit where credit is not due.
Baseball in my opinion is the best sport that has ever been played on the face of this earth. So now I want to share with you all that I have learned in my 14 years of following the game.
