You get more air when you jump by preloading the suspension. To preload you will have to press down the analog stick or directional button whenever you are at the base of the jump. After you press down, you'll then quickly press up on the directional button or analog stick. If you do this correctly you'll get a lot of air. When jumping from hill to hill, try to land on the far side of the hill to maintain speed.

To balance the ATV, you would use the left analog stick, or the directional button to shift the rider's weight on the ATV in any direction. The good landings depend on how the four wheels hit the ground. If you don't do this correctly, you wipe out! When jumping from hill to hill, try to land on the far side of the hill to maintain speed.

The stunts are a big part in this game. When you get a lot of air, that is when you would want to bust the stunts. If you don't get so high off the ground, and try to bust a stunt, it's more likely that you are going to fall off your ATV. Back flips in this game are impossible because you end up falling off easily. A great way to increase your points are to bust combos. To do this pull off more than one stunt at a time.

Everyone of these ATV's work in a different way. You can check performance specs that appear at the screen with the rider you chose along with the ATV. You'll have to play farther in the game to receive the high tech ATV's. However, in ATV Offroad Fury 2 you get points for each event you complete. Therefore you can buy the ATV's.
