Japanese food is very different. A lot of it consist of noodles, rice, and fish. Sushi is raw fish wrapped around rice, usually with a bit of a vegetable in the middle. Another food is soup. Japanese soups such as miso soup are very good. But if you like seafood, be careful. A certain vegetable dish has blowfish in it. This species is extremely poisonous and chefs can cook it only if they have a special license. But people are still killed each year by eating this dish. So if you're ever in Japan, you may reconsider having anything with blowfish in it.

So if you're scared of being poisoned, go for the candy. Japanese candy has bright packaging usually with cute little animals shouting something on the front. The candy itself looks as good as it does on the box. It has a lot of detail and each one is perfectly formed. In Japan, a lot of the candy is a box or a bag of a bunch of tiny candies, instead of one big candy bar. I have had Japanese candy myself, and it's delicious.
