Vitamin C, born Colleen Ann Fitzpatrick, is a
well-known pop singer. She was born on June 27, 1970 in Old Bridge,
New Jersey. She started out in the pop-punk band, Eve's Plum.
She released two albums with them, one in 1993 and one in 1995. Now
she works on her own as Vitamin C. She's made two CDs, "Vitamin
C" in 1999 and "More" in 2000. She has also starred
in movies like Dracula 2000, Da Hip-Hop Witch, Get Over It, LA Johns,
Passion, High School High, Crinoline Head, Whipping Boy, Liar Liar, The
Mambo Kings, Scary Movie 2, Just Cause, and she had the main role in
Hairspray. Vitamin C has also been on TV shows like The Amanda Show, Brothers Garcia, and Sabrina teh Teenage Witch. Colleen Fitzpatrick is very musical. She plays the piano, guitar, flute, and a little of bass and drums. Before becoming Vitamin C, she was a dancer, in a guitar duo, OE, in an orchestra, in another girl band, and in Eve's Plum. In 1998, she signed to Elektra Records and to producer Josh Deutsh. This gave her the freedom to "take artistic control". Along with Vitamin C's many achievements, she also got a lipstick named after her by Tommy Hilfiger, Mattel made a doll in her likeness, and she had her own square on Hollywood Square. Vitamin C had a great start and will probably have much success in the future. |
