| The movie begins as Andy Davis is opening presents at his birthday party. His toys wait anxiously upstairs hoping not to be "replaced" by a new toy. Andy receives a Buzz Lightyear doll and Buzz, unknowingly becomes Andy's new favorite toy. Buzz thinks that he is a space ranger from another planet. Woodie tries to make Buzz understand that he is only a toy but Buzz refuses and it brings them farther apart. Woodie, Andy's old favorite pull-string cowboy becomes very jealous. Soon Woodie and Buzz become enemies. | |

The evil next door neighborhood, Sid blows up toys. So when the Davis family decides to movie all of Andy's toys are more than happy. The night before they move Andy and his mom go to a restaurant called Pizza Planet. Andy is allowed to pick one toy to take, and Woodie know it will be Buzz so he pushes him out the window. |

Andy takes Woodie instead but Buzz hops in the car at the last second and begins to punch Woodie. They fall out at a gas station. And they Davis family drives away with out them. But the toys jump into a Pizza Planet truck and get to the restaurant. |
| At the restaurant Woodie is trying to get back to Andy but Buzz is interested in a spaceship game instead. But Sid finds them instead and takes them home. Buzz tries to escape but Sid's dog, Scud is in the way. Woodie tries to get help from Andy's other toys across the street but they think he hurt Buzz so they wont help. |

Sid's odd toys come to the rescue and help Woodie and Buzz escape Sid's house. Meanwhile Andy is about to leave his house for the last time. Just as the moving van is pulling away Woodie and Buzz work together to get on in the nick of time. After their crazy adventure, Woodie and Buzz decide to become friends. |
