In early1976, Aero Snith woks up to find itself to be the most successful bands in America. Aero smith was loved by many different types of age groups. Led Zeppelin, its empire in collapse, was in jury plagued and off the road. While the Rolling Stones were in a creative eclipse. 

There Biggest success was in 1967. When Peter Framptons live album and Aero Smiths old idols Fleetwood Mac, former brit blues scholars transplanted to Southern California in a later incarnation.

The rebellious sprit of rock n roll lived on in unreconstructed hard rockers Aerosmith  and Ted Nugent, who sold out almost every show they would play at.

In January, with the 3 year old re-released " Dream on " a top 40 single all over American, Aerosmith and Jack Douglas began reproduction on the bands fourth album at the Where House.

In February, Brad Whitford married his girlfriend Lori at her Fmailys home in Florida. The the band moved to the Warwick Hotel in New York to begin recording the tracks that would ship plainum three months later under the title Rocks.
