Allen Iverson grew up with his two younger sisters and his single mother who was 15, he took care of his sisters like a father since his father never played any role in his life, his father lived in Connecticut. |
| Shortly after Allen was born his grandmother passed away. Iverson's mother had a hard time raising her 3 kids as a single mother she had a hard time making ends meet. It was hard paying mounting medical bills because his youngest sister Iiesha suffered frequent seizures which pushed family further into debt. |
