This is a picture of Lynn Swan. He is considered one of the premier wide receivers in pro football today. His ability to deliver the clutch , whether it be a leaping circus catch or a timely downfield block, has earned him the respect of his peers and All Pro honors. He holds a number of NFL and Steelers team record's, but its in the playoffs where he seems to shine most. |

This is a picture of Terry Bradshaw. He has always been bigger than life. He comes across that way on TV when he's on NFL today for CBS- Today, and he was that way in the locker room after a Steelers football game. He dominates out in the field and always has the way he once dominated playoff and Super Bowl games. He was a quarterback and Bradshaw was born in Louisiana. He was willing to throw the ball under fire, and frequently flattened after he released it. |

This is a picture of Franco Harris. The Steelers had high hopes for Franco when he was drafted number out of Penn state in 1972. To say that he was lived up to expectations would be a huge understatement. Quite simply, he was the greatest running backs in history of professional football. His records are much too-numerous to list but perhaps could be summarized by his accomplishments through the 1979 season: 1186 yards gained for a career total of 8,563 yards, 4th on NFL's all-time list. |

People who love football love Rocky Belier, and they still enjoy his company. His is especially in demand during the playoffs. Belier has known the bottom and he worked hard to get to the top of his profession. Belier has come a long way from his humble origins in Appleton, Wisconsin.

This a picture of Ray Mansfield. Is career as the Steelers center spanned thirteen seasons {1964-1976}, second longest in Pittsburgh history behind Ernie Saunter. From the last year of Buddy Parker through two Super Bowls, he could truly say he had see the highs and the lows of Pittsburgh football. |
| This a picture of Loren Toews. He was thought to be something of an intellectual when he played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Toews was just different, sort of a high brow who got lost on his own way to the library and ended up in a locker room. Toews was a thinking mans ball player. He graduated from Cal-Berkeley, the nations preeminent public university, with a degree in biological sciences. This set him apart from the pack for starters, because most of the Steelers were phys ed students in college. While playing for the Steelers, he attended the Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, and picked up a MBA degree in 1981. | ![]() |
