This is my Muhammad Ali web page. Ali was a great sports hero and considered by most the greatest boxer that ever lived. He stood up for what he believed in and lost a lot of his recognition and the respect of many of his supporters by opposing the Vietnam war. He was a very religious man and had much faith in the muslim religion. So much so that he changed his name to the more widely known Muhammad Ali. Claiming he did not want to be known by his slave name Cassius Clay.
