If you were to hit a ball into a hazard and you took your shot the ball wasn’t yours. You wouldn’t be penalized because it was out of the hazard. However if you were to continue to play the hole without fixing your mistake one would be penalized. Because the ball would be hit out of the hazard and one can never have one’s club touch the ground of the hazard. If the hole was played out, the ball would have been played out side of the hazard, thus making you be penalized. |

A very, very common putting flow is when one takes a putter back to far and decelerates through the putt. This, ironically, makes a huge problem. One who does this fault will never get a stable feel for distance and might have an unstraight stroke. Here is a drill, place a ball 25 feet away from a hole. Address the ball normally, place a second ball about 8 inches back from the first ball, around the toes of the back foot. Putt without touching the ball. |
| If you are losing distance of your shots and your shots are hooks/slice. When you swing see if your left foot (righty) or right foot (lefty) turns over to the outside. This happens if all weight is concentrated on the undomient foot, which doesn’t allow hands/waist to release. The outcome isn’t pleasing, so stick a club under the "left" foot. Swing, feel the weight the swift from left from right. |

Do you try to hit long straight drives by changing clubs or lessons. "Maybe it is easier than that," says Dr. Fran P. Rozzolo, who helped pro tour players. He ponders the idea that all one has to do is imagine. That is how the pros make free going, low tension swings which makes products of longer drives. At address the doctors says to thinks of a bulls eye a couple yards ahead of you. See the ball, go though it, don’t think so mechanically. |
| If you are low handicap player trying to shed a few strokes of your game, try this tip. When in a green side bunker, drop your hands at address. This will allow your heel of the club to lead through and this will raise the toe of the club. The product will be getting maximum effect of club’s bounce, a smooth cut and a soft landing shot. |

On a chip do you uncock your wrists while performing the chip to try to help the ball into the air? Bad things can happen; sculling to decelerating and the ball will go too high or too low. If it’s a long chip then and only then shall you cock your wrists only during the back swing. Try to keep the wrists and arms straight similar to a putting, as shown in the picture. |
| Not sure of how much knee flex is needed. Well too much is when the heel of the club is on the ground. This would cause less club head speed and a loss of accuracy and would product a pull or slice. With to little flex one wouldn't be able to move one's legs without falling. This would cause a need for bending at the waist and one would have to perform the swing mainly only using the upper body. Perfect flex is having balance with shoulder freedom. | ![]() |

The 30 yard bunker shot is the toughest shot in the game of golf. To perform this shot alter your setup. Slightly open your stance and shoulders to the target line. Square your clubface up with the target and play the ball a little forward in the stance. ONLY TAKE SAND AN INCH BEHIND THE BALL. You need speed, but swing controllably and maintain a smooth tempo through the ball. |
| Here’s a tip just for driving. During address of the ball, turn your head to the inside away from the hole. This allows you to see the correct takeaway path better. With the moving of your chin, allows your shoulders to get a better turn. Hover your club at address, too. Pros like to their club or shake it, like Sergio Garcia, which keeps muscles engaged and provide for a smooth start of a back swing. | ![]() |
