Pebble Beach Golf Links is rated the number 1 golf course you can play. This great course is located in Pebble Beach, California. Pebble Beach is the host of the annual AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and has hosted the US Open before. This course isn’t rated number 1 for anything. To play at Pebble Beach it cost no more than tickets to the opera. The golf isn’t the only good thing, but there is also lodging and dining at Pebble Beach. Sitting on the signature 18th hole is the lodge, it is only $18.50 per night for a lodge room plus the cost of $275 for the green fees. Plus the free tennis courts are available and there are shops placed around the practice putting green. This course has everything from Blind tee shots with cliffs to the oceans guarding short par fours. This course is always improving with 20 million dollars just spent.

T.P.C. at Sawgrass

T.P.C. at Sawgrass, Stadium Course, is rated the number 7 course you can play. This course is located in Florida in the Jacksonville area. Just minutes away from the settlement of St. Augustine. The course serves a place for The Players Championship. People say the tournament is decided on the signature hole 17 with an island green in the middle of a lake. Averages of 3 balls a player are\ flown into the lake. This course doesn’t have much relieve; what may look as a straight par four demands a straight drive or else. To the 18th hole which water lurking the whole way with multi-bunker guarded green. If you are willing to play here be prepared for a mentally draining match with your abilities and the course.

Greenbrier Course

The Greenbrier Course is rated the number 41st course you can play in the U.S. by Golf Magazine. Jack Nicklaus took the original course and adopted it from only 6,681 yards course to one of the toughest courses in the nation. This course was originally designed for the 1974 Ryder Cup, but didn’t cut it. This course is located in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The course is also accompanied with the Greenbrier, Old White Course, which is the 97th course you can play. Along with amazing courses, spa\mineral baths are available and Swiss showers, etc.. The lodge has a gun range, tennis court, bakery, and lastly 250 seating auditorium featuring a new movie every night.

Pinehurst Resort & Country Club

The Pinehurst Resort & Country Club has 3 ranked courses and more. Plus Pine Needles and Pinehurst National along with 40 public courses are in a 26-mile radius. All of their amazing courses are located in Pinehurst, North Carolina. All of these courses have has a different history, when the land for it was bought in 1695 for $1.00 and acre, which was a high price for such an awful piece of land, but James Walker Taft changed all that. The number 2 course is the 2nd best course you can play. This course as no hole that will let a drive be recoverable, with the igneous layout. This course is made for the pros or mentally strong golfers.

Spyglass Hill Golf Course

Spyglass Golf Course is the 5th best course you can play, which is located in Northern California. This course is 6855 yards of interesting and difficult terrain with a rating ff75.3. Once you think you’ve reached an easy hole, think again. You have the choice driver/3wood but it just missed the green that is guarded with ponds and unforgettable sand traps. After you start the second nine be prepared to meet "Captain Flint" 10th hole. A massive uphill dogleg, better arrange for a caddy. The 16th, "Black Dog", this hole is normally ranked one of the toughest holes in the P.G.A. Tour which is bunker less fairway of the dogleg. The green lies below, which is surrounded by bunkers, Good Luck!

Beth Page State Park, Black Course

Beth Page State Park is located in Farmingdale, New York and home of the U.S. Open. Tiger Woods says this is his favorite course. This course is especially good, because after playing at an expensive course this public course takes it down a notch, $25-$30 for green fees. This course is home to 2 of the longest par fours in the world, plus some par fives. Some relief is found at the short par five of 486 yards; or not with bunkers crisscrossing the fairway. To go over it or to lay up, which could very well determine one’s round.

Mystic Rock Golf Course

The Mystic Rock Golf Course of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort located in Farmington, Pennsylvania. This ranked 96th best course to play. This is also accompanied by other courses of the legendary Nemacolin Woodlands Resorts. Home of P.A. U.S. Open, one should know this is a great course to play here, you must know your limits, so you can push them. Most of the holes you have to carry fairway bunkers, there are ponds everywhere. This course sits back in the mountains. So not only do you get a good round of golf, but you get an amazing view of nature.

Princeville Resort, Prince Course

The Prince Course of Princeville Resort of Kauai, Hawaii is rated the 19th best course to play. It’s not just a great course but a panoramic view of the ocean. The locals call the course "Triple Bogey Country", For various reasons. The course is equipped, starting with the 6th hole, 428yards par four with bunkers around the green and 40 yards of the green. The 12th hole is called " Eagles Nest", with the fairway surrounded with jungle forestry and encased with a stream around the hole. After the round, the resort offers a lodge on the clear blue water, and Hawaiian entertainment including spas, masseuses, and dances to just the piano.
