Jennifer Lopez is a singer and an actress.  She was born July 24, 1970, and is now 32 years-old.  She was born in the Bronx, New York and knew at a very young age that she wanted to  be in show business.

Jen got her big break in 1991.  She was cast as a dancer on the TV show, In Living Color.  In 1995 she was cast in two different movies, Mi Familia and Money Train.  The role that made her a star was her 1997 film, Selena.  It was a biography about a singer, Selena, who was murdered by a crazy fan.  Jen has since appeared in Anaconda, Blood and Wine, U-Turn, Out Of Sight, and most recently, Maid in Manhattan.

Jennifer has also enjoyed a successful singing career.  In 1999 she released her first album, On The 6, named after the subway train that links Manhattan and the Bronx.  It was a great success with chart-toppers like If You Had My Love, and Waiting For Tonight.  She also released J.Lo and This Is Me...Then...singing career

Jennifer's parents, David, a computer programmer, and Guadalupe, a kindergarten teacher, encouraged her to perform.  She appeared in a European tour of Golden Musicals of Broadway, a Japanese tour of Synchronicity, and local productions of Oklahoma and Jesus Christ Superstar.  Jen soon made history as the first female artist to have a number one album and movie in one week, as seen when The Wedding Planner debuted at number one and had audiences rushing to see J.Lo in the starring role.

Jen is often made fun of about the size of her butt by the comedian Chris Rock and others.  She seems to take it well.  She said, "I could serve coffee using my rear as a ledge."  However, her butt isn't the only thing attracting attention - her involvement with Ben Affleck is also receiving a major media buzz.
