Mandy Moore's full name is Amanda Leigh Moore. She was born on April 10, 1984 in Nashua, New Hampshire. Two years later she moved to Orlando, Florida. She developed her love for singing when she was 9 at a summer musical theater camp.

In Florida, Mandy was known as the " National Anthem Girl" for she sang the nation anthem for all the city's major sports team. Many producers heard her sing and before she knew it she was making a demo which soon led to an awesome record deal. She first started touring with teen pop  sensations N*Sync and Backstreet boys. She then started making her first CD Candy which led to making her 2nd CD I Wanna be With You and her newest CD Mandy Moore
