Now I am going to tell you about a swim practice.  On some days our swim practices are hard and on other days they are easy.  At a regular swim practice we do 500's, 400's, 300's, 200's, 100's, 75's, 50's and sometimes 25's.  Here is a list of what all those are.  A 500=20 laps of the pool, 400=16 laps of the pool, 300=12 laps of the pool, 200-8 laps of the pool, 100=4 laps of the pool, 75=3 laps of the pool, 50=2 laps of the pool and a 25  is 1 lap of the pool.  We also use kickboards, pull buoys, and paddles.  The kickboards and paddles are on the other page(equipment).    Swim practices are from 3:00 till 5:00 and that is for High Shoolers.  A 5:00 till 7:00 practice is for kids that are pretty fast and the kids that are usually there are kids in 8th, 7th, and sometimes 6th grade.  The next practice we have is at 7:00 till 9:00 and that practice is for kids that are under and for the 8 and unders.  Another practice that we have for high schoolers is at 5:45 in the morning till 6:45 from there we walk up to school.  If you are lucky enough in 7th or 8th grade the coach will ask you to come to practice with them because you are good. The high school boys swim on Mondays,  Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the high school girls swim on Mondays,  Wednesdays, and Fridays.  The main coaches at our swim practices are Coach Kennedy (high school girls), Coach Chris (high school boys, 5-7, and 7-9), Coach Kathy, Coach Roth, Coach Falce and Coach Bower.  At a swim practice when we do 25's that is when we use the starting blocks.  when we use the starting blocks that is when you crouch down and grab onto the block and the with your legs and feet you push off the block with all your force.
