| The Steelers best two wide receivers are Plaxico Burress and Hines Ward became the first receiving duo in team history to each surpass 1,000 yards receiving last season. Plaxico Burress who was selected first round, 8th overall by the Steelers in the 2000 NFL draft is a rising young star. In the 2001 season he had a team high with 66 receptions for 1,008 yards and also lead the team in the post season with 10 receptions for 151 yards and one TD. Hines Ward has blossomed into a pro bowl wide receiver. Last season he caught for more than 1,000 yards and had a career high 94 receptions. But what separates him from Burress is his ability to run after the catch and that is what took him to the pro bowl and not Burress. They also added a rookie to their staff of wide receivers. Antwaan Randle El was selected by the Steelers in the 2nd round number 62 overall. He played QB in college at Indiana but now plays wide receiver for the Steelers and punt returner.
