Members of The Hall of Fame
Terry
Bradshaw- is the best quarterback the Steelers have ever had, and he
is one of the best there ever was. He led the
Steelers to 4 Super Bowl championships in the same decade. He played from
1970-1983. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1989. Terry is now
doing pre-game shows for fox on Sundays. |
Chuck
Noll-was the head coach for the Steelers before Bill Cowher came. When
he was head coach he led the Steelers to four Super Bowl championships. I
think he is one of the best coaches ever. |
Franco Harris- was the Steelers best running back and probably
will be the best running back in Steelers history. Franco is mostly known
for the immaculate reception against the Oakland Raiders in the 70's. He
played from 1972-1983, and was elected in 1990. |
|
Lynn
Swann- was one of the best receivers in the 70's. He and John
Stallworth teamed up to be the best and most dominating receiving core in
the 70's. Lynn is now a sideline reporter for the NCAA. |
|
John
Stallworth- was probably the Steelers most dominating receiver when
they won all 4 of their Super Bowls. He played from 1974-1987. His was
inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2002. |
Jack
Lambert- was one of the greatest linebackers ever to play the game. He
helped the Steelers win the Super Bowl 4 times. A nimble athlete, he was a
symbol of "Steeler toughness". Jack played from 1974-1984. He
was elected in 1990. |
Mike
Webster- was the best center the Steelers ever had. He was big and
played hard nose football every game. Unfortunelty, Mike passed away this
year, but he will always be remembered. He played from 1974-1988 and was
elected in 1997. |
Mel
Blount- might be the best cornerback in Steelers history. Mel attended
Southern University and was drafted in the second round. He was with the
Steelers through the 70's and he won 4 Super Bowls. He played from
1970-1983 and was elected into the Hall of Fame in 1989. |
