Football is a great sport in my opinion. The name of the guy who founded the Pittsburgh Steelers was Art Rooney. People in Pittsburgh found it as a way to burn some energy. He was a cool guy. Football is really big in Pittsburgh. A football team usually consists of 11 men on the field of play at one time and many more on the bench. The men on the field usually consist of linemen, and the backfield. The backfield has a Q.B. and the backs who run the ball. There are many different plays and holes for the plays to go through. I can not list them all but, I can list some categories. Like a sweep, run, screen, and power. Those are just a few to name. The starting Q.B. of Pittsburgh was Kordell but, it is now Tom Maddox. He got hurt though. My favorite wide receiver is Heinz Ward. My brother likes him too. He is the best. We had the best team back in 1970's. It was around the time Franco Harris made the immaculate reception. We won the world championship. My favorite pattern to run is a 10 45 and in. It s where you run ten yards in a little and run straight the rest of the time. There are tons of different plays. The plays you do depend on your coach. |
