To play any kind of creature/spell card you must have enough manna (land) cards in play. Look at the top right corner to see the amount of manna your creature card needs. In the upper left hand corner the name of the creature is stated. In the brown area below the picture tells you the special power of the creature and above that is the type of the creature. Finally in the lower right hand corner the toughness (right number) and the power (left number) are shown.
