In his new movie he plays a guy like him self, that has a little girl, recently divorced, a mother who is unhealthy and a father that hasn't talked to him since he was a child. Eminem really had a life like this and now he's acting it out in a movie called 8 mile. The cast in the movie are: Kim Basinger, Brittany Murphy, Mekki Phifer, Eugene Byrd, and Taryn Manning. The director is Curtis Hanson and the release day was November 8th. Eminem collaborated with Dr.Dre on the music sound track and the music for the film. The film is about the people at Detroit know 8 mile street as a city limit, a border, or a boundary. 8 mile is a dividing line that separates Jimmy Smith Jr. (Marshall Mathers) from where he wants to be and who he wants to be. | |
