The male Orcas are 32 feet long. Their fin can grow up to 5.5 feet high, and they can weigh about nine tons. The male's fin start to grow around 14 and stop growing at age 20. Another name for a fin is called    "dorsal". They can stay down under the water for at least 20 minutes, and they can swim up to 28 miles per hour. Their ears are inside of their heads. They can have 40-56 teeth and about 2 inches long.

 The female grow up to 28 feet long. Their fin can grow up to 3 feet. They weigh up to 4.5 tons. They can can swim up to 28 miles per hour.  They can stay under the water for at least 20 minutes, and their ears are inside of their heads too. They have 40-56 teeth and are about 2 inches long, just like the male. The females can start having babies at 14 and  stop at age 40. They can live up to 75 years old. 
There are two kinds of pods of Orcas. One is called Transient pods. These kinds of pods go long distances to feed on other marine mammals. Like seal and other mammals like that.

The other kind of pod is called Resident Pods. These kind of pods stay in one area. Especially during the summer and early fall. They eat fish and other kinds of animals like that. They can eat about 10-20  little animals.
