Major League Baseball (MLB) threatened to go on strike in 2002 before the World Series but they decided not to.  In baseball teams play other teams in a series. A series normally consists of three games sometimes four. If you win all those games it is called a series sweep. A pitcher can have a perfect game. By doing this you must pitch all strikeouts. You cannot give up any hits, runs, or walks.
