John Michael Osbourne was born in Birmingham, England, on December 3,1948. He grew up in England. In 1971, Ozzy married his first wife, Thelma Mayfair and became the stepfather to her son, Elliot. In 1973, they had a baby girl and in 1975, they had a son. 6 years later, his father died, and this had a major impact on his life. Soon after, he divorced Thelma. He belonged to the band, Black Sabbath. Previously, in 1974, Don Arden became Black Sabbaths manager. Sharon was his daughter, and this is how Sharon and Ozzy first met. In 1976, he began to struggle with drugs and alcohol, and checked himself into a near mental hospital. In 1979, Ozzy left Black Sabbath. Ozzy married Sharon Ardenon July 4,1982. Their first child, Aimee, was born in September of 1983. Kelly was born in October of 1984, and Jack was born in November of 1985. 10 years later, in 1995, the family moves to California. In March of 2002, the first episode of The Osbournes aired on MTV.
