Turkey hunting is during the spring which is their matring season, and fall. The hunter calls in the turkey and then the hunter waits for a good shot then BANG. Usally the hunter uses a decoy. Then the turkey may or may not come in. Then when you kill the turkey is dead. You can take it home or keep it in the woods to pluck the turkey( pull the feathers off of the turkey). Since the turkey has no presertives you must eat them within 24 to 72 hoursafter the kill of the turkey. |
