Shakira
is a pop-rock chick. She is sometimes called a "Latina
Diva". She never spoke English before she started
singing. Shakira wrote her first song at age 8 and got her first
record deal at age 13. By the time she was 18 she was Colombia's
biggest rock star. Shakira has a "take-charge" attitude
and doesn't like to be told what to do. Unlike most girls Shakira
hates to shop. She picks out what she wears, but thinks shopping is
a waste of time. Her hair is black, but she dyes it blonde.
Shakira loves music and is great at it. Her CD is called "Laundry Service". She feels she should write her own songs. Some of her hits include: "Whenever, Wherever" and "Underneath Your Clothes".
