The Siberian Husky is a very friendly dog. They are also very alert and outgoing. Siberian Huskies do not bark too often unless they are trained to do so. They are very intelligent and are willing workers, which is what makes them such good sled dogs.
     The Siberian Husky is quick and light on it feet. They are also very graceful dogs. The Siberian Husky is a medium sized dog with brown or blue almond shaped eyes. Their ears are erect and their tails are very well furred.
      Siberian Huskies are the 18th most popular dogs. They are also a working breed and they originated in Russia. They were brought to Alaska in 1909 and now dog sledding is very popular there. Sled dog racing became an event in the Olympics in 1932. The Siberian Husky is also native to Siberia.
     The Siberian Husky is a heavy shedder, but they do not need any trimming. They only need grooming about twice a week and they need 60 minutes of outdoor exercise each day. Siberian Huskies don't eat a lot so you will only need to spend fifteen dollars a month for food.
      The Siberian Husky has a life span of about fifteen years. They have a fast learning rate and they make an excellent jogging partner. They do not make too great of a watch dog, but they are very active. The average height of the Siberian Husky is 21- 22 in. and the average weight is 42-52 lbs.
