As puppies the Beagle is very curious and their keen sense of smell can sometimes get them into trouble. Beagles make a good companion for children and they obey all commands cheerfully.

One good thing about beagles is that  they don't drool or have any doggy odor.

In the 50's the Beagle interest rate was at an all time high, and  beagles started gaining popularity in America. The Beagle descended from the Dingo group, Greyhound group, Northern group, and the Mastiff family.
      Beagles require grooming two times per week. They are moderate shedders and they require no trimming. Beagles need at least thirty-five  minutes of outdoor activity a day. The average amount of money spent to buy food for the Beagle is twenty-five dollars per month.
      Beagles usually live around thirteen years. They have a fast learning rate, but their obedience is low. Beagles always have a lot of energy and do not make very good watch dogs. They are usually about thirteen  inches high and weigh around twenty-two pounds.
